Erin Mahoney
Physiotherapist

Erin graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice.

Erin developed a passion for movement and exercise during her childhood and adolescence as a competitive gymnast, which later evolved into an interest in injury pathology and rehabilitation.

Since graduating, Erin has worked privately in a clinical setting, gaining experience in both Sports and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Erin has more than five years’ experience teaching Clinical Pilates which has allowed her to develop excellent movement assessment skills.

Erin is extremely passionate about strength and conditioning, the integration of this into her client’s rehabilitation journey and how this can be adapted across the lifespan as a means of improving athletic performance and preventing injury/ injury recurrence in athletes and the active population and improving the health and longevity in the older and aging population.

Erin utilises a combination of hands-on treatment techniques, including dry needling, and exercise-based rehabilitation to assist her clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Outside of work, you will find Erin at the gym, on a run or socialising with friends over a good meal
