Reformer Pilates Classes Essendon, Melbourne
Our Classes
Reformer | Foundation (First-Timers & Beginners)
Our Reformer Foundation classes are the perfect starting point for anyone new to Pilates or those wanting a slower-paced, technique-focused introduction to the Reformer. Designed to help you feel comfortable and confident, these classes focus on learning the fundamentals of Pilates in a supportive and welcoming environment.
With a strong emphasis on correct technique, body awareness and alignment, our instructors will guide you through the essential Pilates principles, familiarise you with the Reformer equipment and help you understand common Pilates terminology and movement cues.
Exercises are performed at a slower, more controlled pace, allowing additional time for instruction, individual feedback and developing confidence with each movement.
Reformer Foundation is ideal for complete beginners, those returning to Pilates after a break, or anyone wanting to refine their technique before progressing to our Align and Flow classes.
Reformer | Align (Beginner to Intermediate)
Our Reformer Align classes are designed for those who have developed an understanding of the Pilates fundamentals and are ready to build on their strength, coordination and confidence on the Reformer. Offering a controlled, slower-paced approach than our Flow classes, Align focuses on developing quality movement, improving body awareness and refining technique.
With an emphasis on correct alignment, core strength and stability, these classes incorporate a variety of Reformer exercises to challenge your balance, coordination and control while reinforcing key Pilates principles.
Exercises are performed at a steady, considered pace, allowing time to focus on form and technique while progressively building strength, flexibility and overall movement confidence.
Reformer Align is ideal for those progressing from our Foundation classes or anyone who prefers a more controlled, technique-focused Pilates experience without the faster pace and intensity of Flow.
Classes can be modified for those with minor physical limitations. We recommend complete beginners start with Reformer Foundation before progressing to Align.

Reformer | Flow (Intermediate to Advanced)
Our intermediate level Flow classes allow you to connect more deeply with your body and mind. They focus on increasing physical capability, enhancing fitness, improving strength and ultimately helping you enjoy a balanced life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Reformer Flow progresses your confidence with movement on the Reformer, incorporating balance and control. Slightly more challenging than our Align classes, Reformer exercises in our Flow classes will aim to further strengthen the body’s core muscles, with components of mobility and stretching. Options will be given to suit individual ability and experience.
These classes are not suitable for first-timers or those that are new to Reformer Pilates.
Reformer | Stretch (All Levels)
Our one-of-a-kind Reformer Stretch helps re-center and balance your body by reducing tight and tense muscles, increasing flexibility, assisting recovery and complimenting your Pilates practice or other activities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Reformer Stretch involves light movement and deep stretching on the Reformer to leave you feeling long, loose and relaxed. Incorporating stretching into your routine helps reduce postural change, soreness and muscle fatigue, decrease risk of injury and increase general well-being. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These classes are not suitable during second and third trimester of pregnancy.
